Tsunami wave height estimates for Seaside, Oregon, calculated for a range of likely earthquake sources of magnitude 8–9. Contours are drawn at 1 meter (~3 feet) intervals. At the beach, for example, waves could be 8, 9, or 10 meters tall (red contours), while the more inland parts of town might see waves of 2, 3, or 4 meters (light blue contours).
