Steps in the USGS collections management workflow (version 4). This figure shows the primary steps in the workflow for existing and new working collections within the USGS. New collections begin with creating the Project Work Plan and Collection Plan. Evaluate Collection is the starting point where existing collections are evaluated for subsequent action.
