Critical Mineral Word Search Puzzle: Titanium.
Titanium is a “critical mineral”. Ilmenite (FeTiO3) and rutile (TiO2) are two of the ore minerals mined for titanium [1,2]. Most titanium is used as titanium dioxide (TiO2): a white powder used for pigment in paint, rubbers, plastics, and more [2,3]. Metal titanium is lightweight and non-corrosive, so it is used for aerospace parts and in medical implants.
