Warning sign for Snake River quagga treatments

Detailed Description
The Idaho State Department of Agriculture posted warning signs like this one before treating a section of the Snake River with chelated copper in an effort to eradicate invasive quagga mussels. USGS scientists, with permission to enter the area, initiated a monitoring study to evaluate the transport and fate of the copper and its exposure and effects on the non-target benthic community downstream of the treatment area.
