Winter is almost upon Crooked Creek below Catlin Hollow at Middlebury Center, PA. This stream reach, and reaches on other streams were surveyed as part of a geomorphic dataset to determine channel dimensions and allow new estimates of bankfull discharge and channel dimensions at U.S. Geological Survey streamflow-gaging stations compiled to present, and to contrast the glaciated and unglaciated noncarbonate settings of southern New York and Pennsylvania.
