Map of the Yellowstone National Park area. Yellow lines are roads, red curve is caldera boundary, black lines denote Park boundary, and dashed black lines are state boundaries. Three GPS stations, NRWY, OFW2, and WLWY are indicated by colored dots. Bottom shows change in elevation over time at the three GPS sites since January 2016. NRWY, near Norris Geyser Basin, has been uplifting, while the stations in the caldera have been subsiding. In December 2017, NRWY subsided by ~2 cm over the course of a few weeks but returned to uplift by January 2018.
