North Dakota landslide mapping: A complete inventory and mapping into the future
Detailed Description
The North Dakota Geological Survey has mapped the entirety of the state at the 1:24,000 scale using a QL2 and QL3 LiDAR base. North Dakota has been very fortunate with statewide LiDAR coverage and is now collecting overlapping datasets. Recently, the NDGS began using LiDAR change detection, using multiple LiDAR datasets to identify areas of active landslide activity.
