Data Releases

The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Estimated Streamflow and Suspended-Sediment Loads for Select Sites in the Esopus Creek Watershed, New York (ver. 2.0, September 2024) Estimated Streamflow and Suspended-Sediment Loads for Select Sites in the Esopus Creek Watershed, New York (ver. 2.0, September 2024)

This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) data release contains estimated daily mean streamflow for Broadstreet Hollow Brook at Highway 28 at Allaben NY (USGS station ID 01362232) and Bushnellsville Creek at State Highway 42 at Shandaken NY (USGS station ID 0136219702) based on methods in Gazoorian (2015) and available discharge data from West Kill near West Kill NY (USGS station ID 01349810)...

White-nose syndrome/Pseudogymnoascus destructans spatio-temporal predictions over North America between 2007 and 2030 White-nose syndrome/Pseudogymnoascus destructans spatio-temporal predictions over North America between 2007 and 2030

This csv contains spatio-temporal predictions for the year of white-nose syndrome/Pseudogymnoascus destructans in support of the manuscript "Gaussian process forecasts Pseudogymnoascus destructans will cover coterminous United States by 2030." Gaussian process models were fitted to monitoring data on the spread of white-nose syndrome in North America from 2007-2022. These models are used...

R code to fit Gaussian process models to white-nose syndrome/Pseudogymnoascus destructans monitoring data across North America from 2006-2022 R code to fit Gaussian process models to white-nose syndrome/Pseudogymnoascus destructans monitoring data across North America from 2006-2022

This code supports the manuscript "Gaussian process forecasts Pseudogymnoascus destructans will cover coterminous United States by 2030." The code is used to fit Gaussian process models to publicly accessible monitoring data on the spread of white-nose syndrome in North America. These models are used to make predictions on a fine spatial grid, giving a forecast (and hindcast) of the...

North Pacific Wintering Barrow's Goldeneye Body Mass, Morphology, and Prey Sizes 1996-2015 North Pacific Wintering Barrow's Goldeneye Body Mass, Morphology, and Prey Sizes 1996-2015

These data provide information in support of the creation of a bioenergetic model to estimate winter prey consumption by Barrow's Goldeneye (Bucephala islandica). One table consists of mass and morphological measurements of wintering Barrows Goldeneyes captured or collected in Alaska and British Columbia from 1996 to 2015. The second table consists of size classes of Pacific blue mussels...

Datasets for Comparison of Surrogate Models to Estimate Pesticide Concentrations at Six U.S. Geological Survey National Water Quality Network Sites During Water Years 2013–2018 Datasets for Comparison of Surrogate Models to Estimate Pesticide Concentrations at Six U.S. Geological Survey National Water Quality Network Sites During Water Years 2013–2018

This data release is comprised of data tables of input variables for seawaveQ and surrogate models used to predict concentrations of select pesticides at six U.S. Geological Survey National Water Quality Network (NWQN) river sites (Fanno Creek at Durham, Oregon; White River at Hazleton, Indiana; Kansas River at DeSoto, Kansas; Little Arkansas River near Sedgwick, Kansas; Missouri River...

CONUS404: Four-kilometer long-term regional hydroclimate reanalysis over the conterminous United States (ver. 2.0, December 2023) CONUS404: Four-kilometer long-term regional hydroclimate reanalysis over the conterminous United States (ver. 2.0, December 2023)

CONUS404 is a unique, high-resolution hydro-climate dataset appropriate for forcing hydrological models and conducting meteorological analysis over the contiguous United States. CONUS404, so named because it covers the CONtiguous United States for 40 years at 4-km resolution, was produced by the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) Model simulations run by National Center for...
