Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Beach Profile Data Collected From Isla Verde, Puerto Rico Beach Profile Data Collected From Isla Verde, Puerto Rico
This dataset, prepared by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC), provides beach profile data collected at Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. Data were collected from 2022-2024 on foot by a person equipped with a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver and antenna affixed to a backpack outfitted for surveying location and elevation...
Great Lakes seamless water depth models generated at water levels 3 feet below to 10 feet above the published low water datum Great Lakes seamless water depth models generated at water levels 3 feet below to 10 feet above the published low water datum
Modifications were made to Great Lakes topobathy data to interpolate areas of missing near shore elevation data. Areas with missing elevation data were not interpolated where there was low confidence in the underlying depth. This included rivers, canals, harbors, lakes, reservoirs, etc. Areas important for targeting Phragmites australis management often lie within these aquatic...
Model Archive Summary and Time-Series Suspended-Sediment Concentrations Computed from a Surrogate Turbidity Regression at USGS station 11313405 Old River at Bacon Island, CA (2010-2019) Model Archive Summary and Time-Series Suspended-Sediment Concentrations Computed from a Surrogate Turbidity Regression at USGS station 11313405 Old River at Bacon Island, CA (2010-2019)
Continuous 15-minute time-series suspended-sediment concentration data computed from instream turbidity data. Turbidty data is managed by California Department of Water Resources (CDWR) using a YSI 6-series multi-parameter water quality sonde. Complete methods for turbidity data collection are described in attached methods document.
Model Archive Summary for Turbidity Derived Suspended-Sediment Concentrations at 11455350 Cache Slough at Ryer Island, Ca (2013-2018) Model Archive Summary for Turbidity Derived Suspended-Sediment Concentrations at 11455350 Cache Slough at Ryer Island, Ca (2013-2018)
Continuous 15-minute time-series suspended-sediment concentration (SSC) data, representative of the cross section, were computed from instream turbidity data and are acceptable to compute sediment transport. Instream turbidity data were collected at the same location of the ADVM. Sediment samples were collected along the channel transect shown in the channel cross section information...

Model archive summary (MAS) describing the development of a continuous 15-minute suspended-sediment concentration (SSC) time series regression model for the site: Georgiana Slough Near Sacramento River (U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) site # 11447903). The SSC time series is computed from instream turbidity data that is managed by the USGS using a YSI EXO multi-parameter water quality...
