Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Cyanotoxins in the California Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta: Fixed Station Solid Phase Adsorption Toxin Tracking (SPATT) samplers Cyanotoxins in the California Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta: Fixed Station Solid Phase Adsorption Toxin Tracking (SPATT) samplers
This dataset is comprised of cyanotoxin concentrations in extracts from solid phase adsorption toxin tracking (SPATT) samplers deployed at fixed sampling stations in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, beginning in 2020. SPATT samplers are a form of passive sampler constructed of adsorbent resin beads that concentrate cyanotoxins over time. Cyanotoxin congeners were measured from SPATT...
Simulated juvenile Chinook salmon movement and growth in the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River, Idaho: Model input parameters and results Simulated juvenile Chinook salmon movement and growth in the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River, Idaho: Model input parameters and results
The growth potential and movement propensity of juvenile Chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) was simulated across 16 representative reaches in the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River (YFSR), Idaho. For growth potential, we used the Aquatic Trophic Productivity model, which incorporates dynamics of the food web members and the stream-riparian conditions at each reach. Environmental...
International Manganese Samples—The Donnel Foster Hewett Collection International Manganese Samples—The Donnel Foster Hewett Collection
International manganese samples in this collection were acquired from various countries, typically by geoscientists and university professors of the corresponding region. Manganese samples from the United States were collected in the field primarily by other USGS scientists noted in the dataset. The dataset corresponds to Hewett's physical collection of manganese-bearing samples re...
Supplemental Results and Code from North American Bat Monitoring Program (NABat) Integrated Species Distribution Model for Tricolored Bat Supplemental Results and Code from North American Bat Monitoring Program (NABat) Integrated Species Distribution Model for Tricolored Bat
These data contain supplemental results and model code from the North American Bat Monitoring Program's (NABat) integrated species distribution model (iSDM) for the tricolored bat (Perimyotis subflavus). These data also serve as supplemental results, source data used to create figures, and model code to the companion manuscript: "Integrated distribution modeling resolves asynchrony...
Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) egg capture data from Great Lakes tributaries, 2014 & 2023-2024 Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) egg capture data from Great Lakes tributaries, 2014 & 2023-2024
The data includes dates, places, and times of sampling events for eggs of invasive Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) in tributaries to the Great Lakes in 2014, 2023 and 2024. Reference data on locations and dates sampled, gears used, and effort are included. Developmental stages for a subset of undamaged, fertilized eggs are provided. Tables include common fields to allow for...
Data supporting work to understand the impacts of 2.3.4.4b highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza virus infection on Snow Goose movement ecology Data supporting work to understand the impacts of 2.3.4.4b highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza virus infection on Snow Goose movement ecology
These data describe the prevalence of infection with and antibodies to clade 2.3.4.4b HP H5N1 in Snow Geese in the Central Valley of California, along with corresponding movement data. These data show differential outcomes of HPAI infection in this species.
