Alkalinity Calculator

The Alkalinity Calculator will analyze the titration curve and calculate the alkalinity or acid neutralizing capacity (ANC) of the sample using one or more of several different methods. Alkalinity is for filtered samples, while ANC is for unfiltered samples. The results will be displayed in tabular and graphical form.

Oil Shale Data Downloads

This page accesses data for Oil Shale Assessments of PIceance, Uinta and Green River Basins.  It also includes fischer assays and scans of well logs in the Colorado Piceance Basin. 

Flood Database for Colorado

The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Colorado Department of Transportation, created a Web-based geodatabase for information on floods from 1867 through water year 2015.  The flood database also contains information on paleofloods occurring in the past 5,000 to 10,000 years.  

A Three-Dimensional Hydrogeologic Framework Model of Columbia Plateau Regional Aquifer System

This web interface allows users to explore a 3D geologic framework model developed for the Columbia Plateau regional aquifer system as part of a USGS assessment of groundwater availability. The geologic model consists of geologic units with their associated thickness and elevations.
