Banu is a hydrologist at the USGS New York Water Science Center in Buffalo.
I started at the USGS in 2018, working on a variety of water quality studies ranging from sampling PFAS and pesticides in the groundwater, to surface water sampling in the Pine Barrens region of Long Island. I currently work on integrated modeling and analysis projects within the New York Water Science, primarily focused on supporting groundwater modeling efforts on Long Island.
