Caleb Van Zante is a Hydrologist at the USGS New Mexico Water Science Center.
Caleb Van Zante is a hydrologist at the U.S. Geological Survey New Mexico Water Science Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While attending the University of Iowa, he joined the Iowa Geological Survey in 2019 working as a soil science lab and field technician, later entering his current position with the USGS in 2022. Caleb’s work has included surface water and urban stormwater studies concerning nutrients, bacteria, and geochemical constituents. His work is currently focused on suspended sediment dynamics in the Rio Grande and urban stormwater monitoring.
