Gavin Haight
Gavin Haight is an Engineering Technician with the U.S. Geological Survey’s Western Ecological Research Center.
Gavin has focused his work with the Seabird Studies Team on the network expansion of the Motus Wildlife Tracking System by installing wildlife tracking towers across all 8 Channel Islands and along the California coast. He has contributed to multiple seabird radio and satellite telemetry studies along with studies in distribution and abundance. Gavin has also been involved with aerial imagery projects for species distribution and creating digital surface models and orthomosaic images for seabird habitat analysis.
