Jeff Chaplin is Science Advisor for the Pennsylvania Water Science Center.
Jeff started with USGS as a student in Wisconsin and moved to the Pennsylvania Water Science Center in 1999 where he has participated in water-resources studies on abandoned mine drainage, wetlands, dam removal, channel morphology, and other issues. Recent projects include monitoring water quality in selected areas of the Marcellus Shale Play, and investigating factors related to smallmouth bass population declines in the Susquehanna River.
