Jeffrey Chaplin
Jeff Chaplin is Deputy Director and Chief for Hydrologic Studies Programs of the Pennsylvania Water Science Center.
Recent projects include monitoring water quality in selected areas of the Marcellus Shale Play and investigating factors related to smallmouth bass population declines in the Susquehanna River. Jeff has been with the Pennsylvania Water Science Center since 1999. He has participated in water-resources studies on abandoned mine drainage, wetlands, dam removal, channel morphology, and other issues.
