Jordan M. Bush, PhD

Jordan Bush is a Biologist with the National Climate Adaptation Science Center. She creates written and multimedia products communicating the activities of the National and Regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers to partners, stakeholders, and decision-makers.

Jordan Bush is a Biologist within the National CASC communications office, where she creates a variety of media products, including news and feature stories, website content, videos, and social media posts, about CASC research on climate change impacts on landscapes and wildlife. She is also a card-carrying biologist, having done her dissertation research on invasion biology and behavioral ecology. Her current role combines her shared love of ecology and storytelling. She is particularly interested in the role of using narratives to engage audiences in scientific content. 

Jordan received a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a master’s degree in Journalism and Electronic Media from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Prior to that, she received a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Biology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
