Lief Horwitz
As the Regional Program Officer and Tribal Liaison for the USGS Northwest-Pacific Islands Region (DOI Regions 9 & 12), Lief supports coordination and external engagement at seven USGS Science Centers in Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon & Washington.
Lief serves on the senior staff of the Northwest-Pacific Islands Region. As the Regional Program Officer and Tribal Liaison, Lief is focused on providing improved access to USGS science, data, information and tools for the benefit of Northwest Tribes, Native Hawaiian Organizations, partners, stakeholders and the general public.
