Lothian A Buss
Lothian is a Hydrologic Technician with the Colorado Water Science Center, Western Colorado Office, Durango, Colorado
Lothian began working for the USGS as a hydrologic technician for the New York Water Science Center in Troy, New York in 2015. Duties included making discharge methods with mechanical meters and hydroacoustic instruments, ground water level monitoring, running differential levels at gaging stations and GNSS surveys. In 2019 he moved to Durango, CO to work for the Colorado Water Science Center. Starting in 2021, his work has also included continuous water quality monitoring. Prior to working for the USGS, he worked on invasive plant and insect surveys, and plant pathogen monitoring.
