Michele comes to the US Geological Survey with 20+ years of quality management, lead auditing, and statistical consulting experience. Michele is an American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ #46987) and has performed 100+ internal and external audits of laboratories, programs and processes.
Michele Wolf is currently serving as the Acting Associate Program Coordinator for Energy within the US Geological Survey’s Energy and Minerals Mission Area (EMMA). Her primary areas of expertise include:
- Planning and developing scientific programs, defining program needs, and preparing funding initiatives.
- Preparing and revising program documents for the Bureau, DOI, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and others.
- Coordinating programmatic activities within ERP and working with other USGS Program Coordinators, Program Scientists, and Regional staff in each energy-funded Science Center who are involved in developing project proposals and executing project requirements.
- Developing program description and status reports for use by Congress, OMB, the General Accounting Office, the Inspector General, and upper-level Bureau and DOI management staff.
