Phillip Woodford is a Hydrologic Technician in the New England Water Science Center.
Phillip works operating and maintaining near real-time water quality monitoring equipment in multiple drinking water supply areas for quantifying contaminate loading of reservoirs. Phillip also has expertise in the use of custom designed automated water sampling systems for the collection of storm water run-off in both urban and forest environments and experience in 2D and 3D modeling. Previous work experience includes custom construction which has enabled him to design and build innovative monitoring systems. His past work managing aquatic invasive plants has given him a better understanding of aquatic biology and ecosystem interaction which Phillip utilizes when helping with annual biological sampling for the national program NAWQA.
