Reid Brown
My interests are focused on the collection and analysis of environmental data to inform decisions about the fate and transport of contaminants. I am particularly interested in heavy metals resulting from current and legacy mines as well as emerging contaminants of concern.
My work experience includes hydrology, geochemistry, and freshwater ecology. The bulk of my work to date has focused on watershed land use impacts on stream ecosystems, sediment loading to surface waters, microbial loading to surface waters, and radionuclides in soil and groundwater.
