Ryan works for the USGS National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC).
Ryan Teter is the Hydrography Standards Specialist at the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC). He works between multiple teams to create and update hydrography standards and specifications.
Ryan’s past projects include being the product owner of the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) Update Tool and Utilities Toolset, as well as working in cartographic generalization of the NHD and populating the Visibility Filter attribute in the NHD.
Federal Fiscal Year 2024 was the first full operational year for the 3D Hydrography Program. We made significant progress in a number of areas, publishing final versions of legacy products, and developing processes for the new program. This presentation will provide an overview of what was accomplished in FY24 and what is planned for FY25.
