Absence and Leave Handbook

The purpose of the Absence and Leave Departmental Handbook is to set Departmental absence and leave procedures based upon leave laws, regulations of the Office of Personnel Management and Comptroller General Decisions. 

Electronic Library of the Interior Policies (ELIPS)

ELIPS is a library of official policies, procedures, programs, and functions of the bureaus and offices of the Department of the Interior.

Office of Personnel Management (OPM)

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) serves as the chief human resources agency and personnel policy manager for the Federal Government.

Volunteer For Science Handbook

The Volunteer for Science Program currently includes citizens, noncitizens (who live in the United States on a working visa), retired employees, USGS employees and scientist emeriti, homemakers, high school students, college students, teachers and faculty members.

Office of Government Ethics (OGE)

The U.S. Office of Government Ethics provides overall leadership and oversight of the executive branch ethics program, which is designed to prevent and resolve conflicts of interest.
