Free Public Lecture: Join us in a Watch Party at Astrogeology on January 23
We request the honor of your presence at the Astrogeology Science Center Watch Party on January 23, 2020. Our very own director, Dr. Justin Hagerty, will speak about How the Astrogeology Science Center is integral to the past, present, and future investigation of the Solar System, from the USGS Menlo Park Science Center campus, in Menlo Park, California.
You're not going to want to miss this, because Dr. Hagerty is known for great, engaging talks that can be understood in layman’s terms for all to understand and enjoy.
Dr. Hagerty has a decade of experience in planetary science having managed cooperative science projects from inception through delivery, leading interdisciplinary and international groups through planning and implementation of mission goals, competitively obtaining multi-year funding, and conducting complex scientific investigations. In fact, in 2012, he was a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers, the highest honor bestowed by the United States Government on science and engineering professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers.
Come on over to the Astrogeology Science Center at 2255 N. Gemini Drive in Flagstaff Arizona, Room 670, starting at 7:30 pm for the Watch Party and enjoy snacks with us.
