Johnson, Miehls Present on Great Lakes Invasive Sea Lamprey Science to Pacific Lamprey Conservation Initiative
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Initiative Brings Conservation and Control Concerns Together.
Nick Johnson and Scott Miehls (GLSC, Millersburg, Michigan) presented research describing the development and application of supplemental sea lamprey controls for a webinar sponsored by the Pacific Lamprey Conservation Initiative on May 11, 2021. Nearly 200 lamprey biologists from around the world were in attendance in what turned out to be a wonderful exchange of information about how efforts to control sea lamprey in the Great Lakes could aid conservation of valued lampreys in the Pacific Northwest.
