Acquisition Date

• Field Definition:  The starting acquisition date the image was acquired.

               Format:
               YYYY/MM/DD
 

Azimuth Pixel Height

• Field Definition:  Pixel size in meters (Crosstrack).
   

Browse Availability

• Field Definition:  This flag identifies if the entity has a browse image available. A browse image provides the user with a visual overview of an inventory item.
   

Calibration

• Field Definition:  This field is used to indicate if calibration coefficients were used when processing the data.

               Values:
               Y = Processed using calibrated coefficients
               N = Processed using no calibrated coefficients
 

Campaign

• Field Definition:  This field indicates the flight campaign associated with the data.

              Values:
              SRL1 - April 9, 1994 to April 20, 1994
              SRL2 - September 30, 1994 to October 11, 1994
 

Center Azimuth Resolution

• Field Definition:  The center azimuth resolution in meters (Crosstrack).

              Values:
              0.000 - 60.000
 

Center Range Resolution

• Field Definition:  The center range resolution in meters (Alongtrack).

               Values:
               0.000 - 60.000
 

Coordinates - Decimal Degrees

• Field Definition:  The latitude and longitude are provided in decimal degrees for the following fields:

                 Values:
                 Scene Center Latitude and Longitude
                 Northeast (NE) Corner Latitude and Longitude
                 Northwest (NW) Corner Latitude and Longitude
                 Southeast (SE) Corner Latitude and Longitude
                 Southwest (SW) Corner Latitude and Longitude

                 Latitude Format Decimal Degrees: -90.000 through 90.000
                 Longitude Format Decimal Degrees: -180.000 through 180.000

                Number of decimal places will vary by dataset – check collection in EE.
 

Coordinates - Degrees, Minutes, Seconds

• Field Definition:  The latitude and longitude are provided in degrees, minutes, and seconds for the following fields:

                 Northeast (NE) Corner Latitude and Longitude
                 Northwest (NW) Corner Latitude and Longitude

                DDD = Degree(s) with a range of 0 through 180
                MM = Minute(s) with a range of 0 through 59

                DD = Degree(s) with a range of 0 through 90
                MM = Minutes(s) with a range of 0 through 59

Data Quantization

• Field Definition:  The data quantization associated with the data.

              Valid Codes:
              0 = 4 bit
              1 = 8 bit
              2 = BFPQ
 

Data Product Type

• Field Definition:  The data product types available.

              Valid Codes:
              1 = Multi-look complex (MLC)
              2 = Mulit-look detected (MLD)
              3 = Single-look complex (SLC)
              4 = Reformatted signal data
              8 = Single look complex interferometric
              9 = Raw interferogram
 

Data Take ID

• Field Definition:  Reference data take (swath) of raw data.

              Values:
              1.00 - 999.99
 

Date of Update

• Field Definition:  The Date of Update refers to the date the inventory record was added to the inventory, or the date the record was last updated.
   

Entity ID

• Field Definition:  This field uniquely identifies SIR-C data.

              Values:
              Valid Entity ID for SIR-C:
              PR10000 to PR99999
 

Frequency

• Field Definition:  The radar frequency used when image was acquired.
   

Image Duration

• Field Definition:  The length of the image (acquisition time) in seconds.

              Values:
              1.000 - 25.000
 

Image Start GMT

• Field Definition:  The image start date and time (GMT).

               Format:
               YYYY/DDD:HH:MM:SS:SSS
               YYYY = Year
               DDD = Julian day
               HH = Hour
               MM = Minutes
               SS = Seconds
               SSS = Thousandths of seconds

               Example:
               1994/273:00:00:00.000
 

Image Stop GMT

• Field Definition:  The image stop date and time (GMT).

              Format:
              YYYY/DDD:HH:MM:SS:SSS
              YYYY = Year
              DDD = Julian day
              HH = Hour
              MM = Minutes
              SS = Seconds
              SSS = Thousandths of seconds

              Example:
              1994/273:00:00:00.000
 

Incidence Angle

• Field Definition:  Beam incidence angle (to ground) in decimal degrees.

              Values:
              0.000 - 90.000
 

Left Right Looking

• Field Definition:  Direction of radar illumination.
   

Number of Bytes per Pixel

• Field Definition:  The number of bytes per image pixel.

               Values:
               1 - 12
 

Number of Lines

• Field Definition:  Number of lines in image.

              Values:
              1000 - 30000
 

Number of Pixels per Line

• Field Definition:  Number of pixels per image line.

               Values:
               100 - 15000
 

Orbit Direction

• Field Definition:  Direction of shuttle flight path.
   

Polarization

• Field Definition:  The code used to indicate the TX and RX polarization.

              Valid Codes:
              0 = HH
              1 = HV
              2 = VV
              3 = VH
              4 = HH/HV/VH/VV (quad pole)
              5 = HH/HV
              6 = VV/VH
              7 = HH/VV
              8 = HH/VH
              9 = VV/HV
 

Processing Band Width

• Field Definition:  The processing band width in MHz.

              Values:
              500.000 - 1500.000
 

Pulse Repetition Frequency

• Field Definition:  The pulse repetition frequency in HZ.

               Values:
               1000.000 - 2000.000
 

Radar Mode

• Field Definition:  The radar acquisition mode in use when the data was acquired.

• Field Definition:  Data take swath name, generally the name of the target site.
   

Track Angle

• Field Definition:  Beam incidence angle (to ground) in decimal degrees.

              Values:
              -180.000 to 180.000
 

X Shuttle Position

• Field Definition:  Shuttle X position in Km

              Values:
              -7000.000 to 7000.000
 

X Shuttle Velocity

• Field Definition:  Shuttle X Velocity in Km/sec.

              Values:
             -8000.000 to 8000.000
 

Y Shuttle Position

• Field Definition:  Shuttle Y position in Km

              Values:
