DOI Social Media Policy
This policy describes the official use by bureaus (such as USGS) and offices of a social media account or service as a means of communication and public engagement.
Hatch Act Guidance for Social Media
Federal employees may not use a social media account designated for official purposes to post or share messages directed at the success or failure of a political party, candidate in a partisan race, or partisan political group.
