The Federal Uncrewed Systems (UxS) Workshop convenes government and academic partners to advance safe, effective, and mission-ready applications of uncrewed aerial, ground, and maritime systems. By fostering interagency collaboration, university research integration, and evidence‑based operational practices, we accelerate scientific discovery, environmental monitoring and hazard response, policy and regulatory readiness, workforce development, and data stewardship—delivering resilient, responsible UxS capabilities that serve the public good.

WHO? Federal, state, and local government professionals; university researchers and students; and practitioners advancing uncrewed aerial, ground, and maritime systems for science, safety, and public service. (Vendors are not invited unless directly supporting research showcased at the Workshop.)
WHAT? A 3-5‑day, no‑cost government–academic workshop featuring oral talks, posters, and interactive breakout sessions on various UxS topics and applications.
WHERE? The Mill at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi
WHEN? March 16–18, 2027
Optional live demonstration days on Monday, March 15 AND Friday, March 19. Plan to spend the week with us.
