Luminescence, Radiocarbon, and Pollen data for a Geomorphic Investigation of the Chalk Hill Site, Northern Rodgers Creek Fault near Windsor, California

October 22, 2026

Data release containing luminescence data for five samples, radiocarbon data for six samples, and one pollen count associated with three paleoseismic trenches at the Chalk Hill site on the northern section of the Rodgers Creek Fault, part of the dextral San Andreas fault system in northern California. We document at least three active fault strands of the northern Rodgers Creek Fault, with evidence of creep on two strands. Luminescence and radiocarbon ages from the trenches range from ~150 to ~13800 years.
