SHRIMP-RG U-Pb ages and trace element data of zircons, and whole-rock Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic data, from Sonoran and Sinaloan Neoproterozoic to Paleogene metaigneous and metasedimentary samples, northern Mexico

This dataset accompanies two proposed publications, "Descriptions and age constraints for new Jurassic flora fossils in west-central Sonora, Mexico: Results from U-Pb zircon geochronology, Sr-Nd isotopes, and megafossil taxa" and "Summary of Paleozoic and Mesozoic Rocks in Sonora and northern Sinaloa, Mexico", which will both report zircon SHRIMP-RG U-Pb ages and whole-rock isotope analyses. Samples were collected from the study area by Ricardo Amaya-Martinez and colleagues at the University of Sonora (Hermosillo) and Barney Poole (USGS), who brought them to the USGS Denver for analysis. The analyses were performed from 2004 to 2020.
