USGS Isotope: A Database of Radiogenic and Stable Isotopic Data
USGS Isotope is a database of compiled radiogenic and stable isotopic data from rocks and critical mineral deposits. The data set contains published elemental concentrations, isotopic ratios, analytical information, sample metadata including location, and source citations. Analytical techniques represented include Sm-Nd, U-Th-Pb, Rb-Sr, Lu-Hf, Re-Os, O, and S isotopic systems. Data incorporated into the database originate from peer-reviewed journal articles, geological survey publications, and USGS data releases, primarily covering the United States but also encompassing selected regions across North America. Designed to support critical mineral assessments, geologic mapping, and regional geologic synthesis, the database will continually be expanded and updated, ensuring easy accessibility and data quality for researchers, resource managers, and stakeholders.
