Detrital zircon U-Pb data for paleontological localities in the Piceance Creek Basin

This data release hosts detrital zircon U-Th-Pb geochronology data that were created to support geologic mapping and research in the context of the Geologic Framework of the Intermountain West Project supported by the National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program. These data characterize the deposition age and provenance of Cretaceous stratigraphic units exposed in the Piceance Creek Basin in northwestern Colorado, USA. All detrital zircon U-Th-Pb data presented in this data release were collected at the University of Arizona LaserChron Center in Tucson Arizona.
