(She/her)Michaela (Mikki) Johnson is the Associate Program Coordinator for the National Geological and Geophysical Data Preservation Program (NGGDPP).
She manages the NGGDPP grants program, oversees national products improving access to scientific collections, e.g., ReSciColl, leads NGGDPP development of documentation profiles for scientific collections, and leads the Earth MRI data delivery team. Her career background included involvement in a variety of single-focus and multidisciplinary projects; the National Water-Quality Assessment (NAWQA) project, groundwater-related subsidence, hyperspectral mineral mapping research, geophysics supporting water and mineral resources investigations, and mineral resource assessments.
