The USGS and NASA Cal/Val team is updating the Landsat 9 calibration parameters on March 8, 2022.

These updates will reduce banding between the 14 focal plane modules visible in the SWIR-2 band (Band 7) of Landsat 9's Operational Land Imager.  NOTE: These updates do not affect the absolute calibration or cross-calibration between Landsat 9 and Landsat 8.

Please contact USGS Customer Services with any questions about this calibration parameter update activity.
