2014 Lights Out DC Birds

Detailed Description

Here lie the birds killed while striking a set of buildings surveyed during the migration season in 2013 in Washington D.C. The birds were picked up by the group Lights Out Washington D.C. and include species such as Worm-eating Warlblers, Scarlet Tanagers, American Woodcock, Saw whet Owl, Coopers Hawk, Black and White Warbler, Swamp Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Ruby-throated Hummingbird and many more. This is a 33meg jpeg created by modifying a 300+meg *tif file stitching together from about 20 high definition pictures, likely the picture can be printed out to fit on the side of a wall.Canon MarkII 5D with 100mm macro interior lighting was used.
