A time-lapse camera was reinstalled on the south rim of Pu‘u ‘Ō
Detailed Description
A time-lapse camera was reinstalled on the south rim of Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō to document the continuing collapse of the north rim. Today the crater was too steamy to see the north rim, but the camera will capture the sequence of events when visibility is improved. This camera is not telemetered in real-time. USGS photo by C.
