Aquaculture Net Pens
Detailed Description
Aquaculture net-pens operated by the Quinault Indian Nation are being affected by the emergence of a new strain of infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. The Western Fisheries Research Center is conducting research on the virus with funding from the Quinault Indian Nation, the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
