Michael E. Field (right), recipient of the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force (USCRTF) 2013 Outstanding Scientific Advancement of Knowledge award, holds the plaque with Curt Storlazzi, who is on the USCRTF science steering committee, has worked closely with Mike on USGS coral reef studies for the past decade and a half, and now leads the USGS Coral Reef Project initiated by Mike.
