Detailed Description
Cedar Mill is located on the Big River in Jefferson County, Missouri. The mill, formerly know as Maddox Mill has been in the same location since 1847. The gristmill/sawmill was rebuilt in 1876 after falling victim to either fire or flood. The current three-story structure using the orginal stone-wall foundation was erected somewhere around 1890.
