Detailed Description

Dead Sea fault study area. Green dots (locations of receivers) delineate profiles along which the international team collected data about the Dead Sea fault’s subsurface structure. Red triangles are where explosive shots were detonated to provide seismic (sound) energy for the experiment. Red fault strands reflect the complexity of the Dead Sea fault in this area.
