Detailed Description

Female loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) were tagged at Loggerhead Key and East Key in Dry Tortugas National Park (zoomed-in area in red box; thick blue line is outer boundary of the park, thin blue line delineates management zones within the park). Turtles migrated from the Dry Tortugas through Florida Straits to the Bahamas.
