Landsat 8 Satellite Images of 2017 Fire in Greenland

These Landsat 8 images captured an area in western Greenland before and during a wildfire in western Greenland. 

The left image was acquired July 11, 2017. The right image was acquired August 12, 2017. 

Dry conditions contributed to the igniting of willows, shrubs, grasses, and mosses in this coastal area.
