Instructions on How to Attend Virtual USGS Public Lecture 

Mac:

1. Click on the Live Event link

within your email invitation to

launch Microsoft Teams.

2. Select "Cancel" if you see this

notification.

3. Click on "Watch on the

web instead” to view the

Public Lecture through your

web browser.

4. Presto! You are now viewing

the Public Lecture as a guest.

Mac iPad/iPhone:

1. Download the Teams app from

the App Store.

2. Go to your email invitation 

click on the stream link to

launch Microsoft Teams app.

3. Select “Join Meeting.”

4. Type your name into the field

and select "Join Meeting.”

5. Presto! You are now viewing

the Public Lecture as a guest.

Windows:

1. Click on the Live Event link

to launch Microsoft Teams.
