Photo of the lake was captured during reconnaissance field work to survey the lake catchment, water column, and surface sediments. Researchers Jess Rodysill (Reston), Julie Richey (St. Pete) and Jennifer Flannery (St. Pete) are investigating histories of lake levels, salinity, and precipitation using sediment proxies Lago Enriquillo lake cores.
