Native seed development process

Detailed Description
The Native Plant Materials Development Process represents a simplified model of the steps involved in increasing the supply of genetically appropriate native seed for restoration. In practice, the Development Process is iterative, with layers of complexity within each step. It can and should be modified according to the biological characteristics of restoration species and the location of the project along the Society for Ecological Restoration’s continuum of restorative activities. Moreover, this Development Process is adaptive and should be informed by restoration outcomes and the latest science.
