Detailed Description

Preliminary simulation of the tsunami from the February 27, 2010 M=8.8 subduction zone earthquake offshore Chile. Viewpoint looks to the east from the Juan Fernández Islands toward Chile (in the distance). The first 78 minutes of propagation is shown.
