Regional Tectonic Setting and Bedrock Geology, Superior Province, MI
Detailed Description
Regional tectonic setting and bedrock geology in the southern Superior Province, central upper Peninsula, Michigan. The Archean to Proterozoic transition is exposed across parts of northern Michigan, northern Wisconsin, and Minnesota, and continues in the relatively shallow sub-Paleozoic basement to the east, west, and south of its exposed belt.
