This map of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore on Lake Michigan shows the change in submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) between 2010 and 2018. Blue shows SAV loss; orange shows SAV gain. Green was SAV in both years; tan was sand in both years. (Map courtesy of Bob Shuchman and Michael Sayers)
