Thermal infrared camera used to monitor temperature on the surface of the Neversink River at Claryville, New York, USGS streamgage site 01435000. This camera was installed to enable USGS to better understand groundwater discharge into the River over time. This information can be used by local resource managers to inform water resources management in the area. Images from this camera can be viewed and downloaded from the USGS Hydrologic Imagery Visualization and Information System (HIVIS) web site.
