Thunderhead building over Florida Bay

Summer heat and evaporation can cause thunderstorm clouds to build rapidly over south Florida, particularly along the coast.  The waters of Florida Bay, part of Everglades National Park, are very shallow and the bay is dotted with mangrove islands visible in the distance.
